Canegrass Project

The Canegrass Project comprising Exploration Licenses E29/789 and E24/177 is located approximately 70 km to the north east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and covers an area of approximately 365.4 km2.

The Project lies in the northern half of the Menzies-Kambalda region of the Norseman-Wiluna Belt in the Archaean Yilgarn Craton of Western Australia. The project area is dominated by granitic rocks of the Mount Pleasant – Goongarrie Complex and contains a portion of the Wongi Hills Greenstone Belt.

The ground covering Canegrass project was applied for based on the Golden Cities gold-in-granite model where a gold resource of approximately 1 million ounces was outlined in the late 1990s. Recently Pioneer Resources has also identified significant gold mineralisation north of Golden Cities within another internal granitoid further to the east. Historical water bore drilling has returned anomalous gold values of 6m @ 0.24g/t Au from 66m and 0.14g/t Au from 24m in the project area.

Gold anomalous zone of 2km x 800m has been identified in unexplored grounds
